Resume Analysis

A line-by-line read of why your resume isn't getting calls — scored against the role you're chasing, with fixes you can apply in place.

    What you get

A real review, not a generic checklist. Each analysis returns:

Why "targeted to the role" matters

Most resume tools score against a universal rubric: keywords, length, formatting. That tells you whether the resume is clean, not whether it's competitive for the role you actually want.

Career Offensive's analysis takes the role into account — title, seniority, company type, the kind of evidence that wins for that specific position — and grades the resume against that bar. Different roles get different feedback.

    The fix-in-place loop

You don't have to leave the page. Each suggestion shows up next to the section it applies to. You read it, apply it (or skip it), and the score recalculates. Edit until the resume reads the way you want, then export.

This is what makes the analysis useful instead of demoralizing — you don't get a score and then have to start over somewhere else. You see the score, fix what's worth fixing, and ship the new version.

    What it isn't

    How long does it take?

The analysis runs in under a minute. Most users iterate three or four times — read, fix, re-score — before they're happy with the version that goes into outreach.

    Plans

Resume Analysis is included in Campaign ($20/month) and Guided Launch ($149/year). The Resume Builder itself (build, edit, export) is free on every plan.
