What each part of Career Offensive actually does, and how the pieces fit together into a real outreach workflow.
What are company reports?
Reports turn your background into a focused list of 25+ target companies. They're not search results — they're a ranked shortlist built around your role direction, location, and the kind of work you do.
The point is to stop you from scrolling listings and start you with a list you can actually act on.
What is contacts lookup?
Once you have your target companies, contacts lookup hands you the people inside them — ranked by who actually has a say in the hire. Decision-makers, hiring managers, recruiters with influence.
This is the part most job boards never give you. Without it, you're emailing a careers inbox and hoping. With it, you're emailing a person.
Can I use contacts lookup without a report?
Yes — instant lookup pulls contacts at a single company on demand, no report needed.
That said, the report-led flow performs better because it narrows the targeting first. If you already know which companies you want, instant lookup is faster. If you don't, the report saves you the wandering.
What does the outreach workflow include?
The outreach workflow is built to keep execution sharp:
- Drafted messages in your voice, using your resume as context
- Sent from your own Gmail, one message at a time, so it comes from you and not a bulk sender
- Sent history in your hub, alongside the contact and the role
- Follow-up drafts when a message has gone unanswered, plus status you update as replies come in
Career Offensive asks Gmail only for permission to send, so it cannot read replies; they arrive in Gmail and you mark the outcome in your hub.
Is there a resume tool inside the platform?
Yes. The Resume Builder is included free — fast editing, color themes, exports to PDF, DOCX, or TXT, unlimited versions. Tailor it once per role, then run outreach against the right shortlist.
Where should I start if I'm new?
- Upload your resume from the home page
- Run your first report
- Scan the top companies
- Pull contacts at one or two
- Send your first message — from your inbox, not ours
